| Dishman Baseball Medical is being developed to fill a need to the parents of New York City. Unfortunately I've received many calls from parents who I had not previously met. These parents all seemed to share the same story of a child who hurt himself while pitching or playing baseball in general. The players had either seen a Doctor or Physical Therapist with limited baseball experience. They spent months resting only to find their injury was still causing problems. The players then had to restart the process. Injuries are a part of baseball but things can be done to limit a players exposure to injuries. If an injury does occur it is important for the player and the parents to see a specialist that will diagnose and recommend a rehabilitation schedule that will put the player back on the field. Dishman Baseball Medical is designed to provide a parent direction during the frustrating process of injury diagnosis and rehabilitation.
